Description
This wireless Precision Soil Sensor maximizes the efficiency of your irrigation system, preventing both over-watering and under-watering. The sensor probe continuously measures moisture levels in the soil and determines when your controller is allowed to water. The sensor automatically detects the moisture and adjusts all calculations to correspond. It is the only soil sensor that detects when temperatures approach freezing to stop irrigation and avoid frozen pipes. The sensors are quick and easy to install. The Precision Soil Sensor has a wireless range of up to 500 feet. This versatile soil sensor works with the Evolution Series controllers, along with other Smart Connect add-on devices; and it can even be installed on competitors’ irrigation controllers.
