Monitoring Reservoir Level (Patio Garden)

Is there an easy trick to checking on the nutrient level in your patio gardens?

Once it is assembled, it’s kind of hard to get at the reservoir to check the level.

Any suggestions?

I bought two grommets and a length of clear hose. I drilled a hole in the top and in the bottom of the reservoir inserted the grommets and then inserted the hose into the grommets. You can see a water level at a glance now.

I used a couple 1/4 ” 90deg nylon fittings one at the top and one at bottom with clear tubing between the 2 fittings ..I did tap the container and screw the fittings in and sealed with some monster epoxy..I have a pic of what I did if I could or knew how to upload..
